they were force to kill people. they were slaves and force the slaves to fight each others.

How did Hellenistic culture start?
King Phillip II he goes down and conquers all of ancient Greece goes to her daughter and was killed by his body guard then his son, Alexander the great takes over, Alexander the great continues conquering new lands in clouding: Persia, Egypt and all the lands to India. The combination of all the conquered cultures forms a new culture called Hellenistic culture.
